CraftAttack

In 2014, many Minecraft projects came with strict limits on recording, streaming and much more. We wanted to enjoy our favourite game on our own terms. So we founded CraftAttack around a simple idea: as much freedom as possible, and above all, fun!

Since then, CraftAttack has become an annual fixture for many creators and the community. In season six, I took over project leadership alongside SparkOfPhoenix. Over 100 creators have now found a place in the project.

As the project grows, so does the work behind it. Much of it happens out of sight: organisation, technical questions and decisions that require time, patience, expertise and a careful touch. That is where I help shape CraftAttack, making room for new stories to unfold.

Unity-Life

In 2020, a colleague introduced me to Kaya Yanar. With touring no longer possible during the pandemic, he was just getting started on Twitch. We played different games together, while my colleagues and I helped him with technical questions behind the scenes.

In April, Kaya discovered a roleplay livestream and said, ‘I want to play that with you!’ We joined Unity-Life together, and I was hooked straight away. I became a developer on the team and helped improve the server.

A few years later, I also took on management responsibilities. Since 2025, I have been the third member of the project leadership team. Today, I continue developing Unity-Life with a wonderful team, while experiencing new stories in the world of San Andreas every day.

Minecraft Kingdom

Minecraft Kingdom grew out of a dilemma. CraftAttack 4 was our roleplay season, and its story became so big that we decided to continue it in a separate project. We ended the season by stepping through a portal into a new dimension. Minecraft Empire was due to start a month later, but I had fallen in love with roleplay and did not want to wait.

So I teamed up with Balui and FeineKatze to create Minecraft Kingdom. In the story, Balui and I were stranded in an unfamiliar world, searching for a way into the Empire dimension.

For 30 days, our daily routine was writing scripts, programming features for the next episode, building locations, recording scenes, editing and uploading. The three of us, supported by a wonderful team behind the scenes, told a story of danger, discovery and friendship.

Across several seasons of my SubServer, I played Minecraft together with my community. Daily events gave players the chance to win rare items, and there was plenty of trolling along the way. Several times a week, Clym and I toured and rated the community’s builds.

Opening the Nether was a particular highlight. Each season, we worked with the building team to create a huge event. At times, 130 players solved challenges and fought the Nether boss simultaneously, finally opening the way into the Nether.

When Minecraft Empire came to an end, I teamed up with Masytrix to create ‘Drachis Abenteuer’. Masytrix had already played important roles in Empire. Joining us was his little Drachi, whom he had raised from an egg during that project.

Together, we set off on a grand adventure. Familiar stories became our inspiration: we adapted them to Drachi’s world with our own sense of humour, turning them into new experiences.
